I was truly torn about the main love triangle up until the very end. As a reader you see the plot unravel from many different views but also stay as a third party, giving you the chance to make assumptions about and alliances with the characters. The way that Marr wrote this novel was very interesting. It was the strength of their realtionship that was able to keep Aislinn grounded when the confusing world of faeries threatened to take her. The relationship between Aislinn and Seth was really great to read as they fell in love without ever realizing it. Aislinn’s ability to see the faeries and her strength to uphold the rules, given to her by her grandmother, made her character really strong. I have to say this book kept me guessing until the very end.

With each chapter beginning with a quote from other faerie sources it made the book come alive and really makes you think that these “characters” might be closer to reality than fantasy.

This book definitely gives great insight to the fantasy world of faeries.
